Supervising Social Worker - Dorset Region
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supervising Social Worker to join our clients team in the Dorset region.
You'll inherit a manageable caseload of up to 10 households/14 children, with our carers located across Dorset. We're looking for someone based in or around Dorchester to best serve this area.
Our team's strength is its ability to build strong, lasting relationships with foster carers, and our reputation for providing exceptional service is a source of pride. We're on a journey to become an outstanding service, driven by our core values: We care, We Listen, We Collaborate, We Invest. If you share these values, you'll fit right in with our supportive and kind culture, focused on solutions and continuous improvement.
We're a forward-thinking, owner-led agency with a "family feel." We're growing, and our plan to become an employee-owned trust in the coming years shows our commitment to our team.
What You'll Do
-
Work closely with our carers to ensure they are "Ofsted-ready" and gather evidence of the positive outcomes for children.
-
Maintain a manageable caseload of no more than 10 households. We believe this focus on quality is key to providing the best service to our carers and children.
-
You may be required to undertake Form F assessments and help grow your cohort of carers. Previous assessment experience is important due to our healthy recruitment pipeline.
-
Travel within Dorset is expected, with drives of up to 90 minutes per carer, depending on your location.
-
Attend recruitment events, carer events, and social activities, which may occasionally be on weekends. We offer a flexible working approach to ensure your contractual hours are met.
