The Opportunities

Due to an increase in demand for the 2026 academic year, we are seeking dedicated Teachers for roles within Mainstream and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) settings. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs. We have vacancies in:

  • Primary Education: Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 Class Teachers.

  • Secondary Education: Subject specialists (Maths, Science, English, Humanities, etc.) and general cover.

  • ALN Provisions: Teachers experienced in ASD, SEMH, and complex needs settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Curriculum for Wales.

  • Assessment: Mark work, assess pupil progress, and provide constructive feedback to support attainment.

  • Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with ALN.

  • Classroom Management: Manage pupil behaviour effectively to create a safe and positive learning environment.

  • Collaboration: Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to maximize pupil outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent).

  • Experience: Experience teaching within the UK curriculum (NQTs are encouraged to apply).

  • Registration: Must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as a School Teacher.

  • Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Vetro can assist with a new application if required).

  • Reliability: A professional, punctual, and flexible approach to school assignments.
