Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with personal care and behavioural needs
- Assisting teachers and SENCOs in developing and implementing behaviour management strategies
- Providing targeted support to pupils with diverse needs, including special educational needs (SEN)
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Collaborating with school staff to support individual education plans
Requirements:
- Genuine interest in working with children and young people
- Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or in the care/education sector
- Knowledge or experience in PMLD or similar environments is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities
- Proactive work ethic and a patient, understanding attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of special educational needs (SEN)
