Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Service Manager and share responsibility for managing the team and service operations
- Plan staff rotas and oversee team management
- Ensure compliance with care standards and safety regulations
- Promote independence and support individuals in making their own choices
- Follow individual care plans and support personal care needs
- Take service users out into the community for activities and outings
- Encourage participation in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all service users
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to work towards Level 3
- Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role
- Resilient and adaptable with a caring nature
- Driver is essential due to the role’s requirements
- Comfortable with personal care responsibilities
