Team Leader – Learning Disabilities Residential Care in Brecon – Full-Time Permanent Role

About the Role:
As a Team Leader, you will work alongside an experienced service manager to oversee a cluster of services, ensuring high-quality care and support for our residents. No two days are the same in this vibrant setting, and you'll have the chance to get paid while enjoying activities like visits to the zoo or cinema—benefits that show how much we value fun and engagement!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Service Manager in managing the team and the daily running of the service
- Plan staff rotas and manage team schedules
- Promote the independence and rights of the individuals supported
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all service users
- Follow personalised care plans for each individual
- Support community activities such as arts and crafts, gardening, and day trips
- Assist with personal care where needed
- Encourage individuals to participate in meaningful activities and make their own choices
What We Are Looking For:
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (willing to work towards Level 3)
- Previous experience in a support worker or similar role; management experience is not essential as full training will be provided
- Resilient and compassionate with a caring nature
- Drivers are ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
- Comfortable providing personal care and supporting individuals with complex needs
