We are looking for a Support Worker to join a therapeutic children's home that offers care for young people from the ages of 9-17 and focuses on supporting children primarily with Autism and possible mild learning needs some may have emotional and behavioural needs,

The home is situated within the seaside town of Bexhill, and offers the opportunity for children to live within the community, with the home being in a residential area. It has good access to amenities and local activities, access points for public transport and other opportunities for children to progress their independence skills where appropriate.

Role: Support Worker
Location: Bexhill-On-Sea , Ninfield
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support children with autism and complex needs in their daily lives
  • Encourage independence and personal growth in a safe, nurturing environment
  • Engage with outdoor activities, animal care, and therapeutic interventions
  • Work as part of a dedicated team to provide consistent and compassionate care

What We're Looking For:

  • A compassionate and resilient individual with a passion for social care
  • At least 6 months of experience in a UK social care setting
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A valid driving license and access to a car (due to the rural location)
