This is a full-time, permanent position offering an enriching opportunity to support young adults with complex additional learning needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents in their daily activities, promoting independence and self-advocacy
- Lead by example in a warm, sociable environment where residents, staff, and volunteers share meals and socialise
- Assist with practical tasks and encourage residents to develop life skills
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and family-like atmosphere within the residential setting
- Participate in a variety of shifts across a 40-hour week, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required
Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary; full training provided
- Kind, patient, and practical approach to care
- Excellent communication skills and a consistent, reliable manner
- Ability to work flexible shifts across the week
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
