Salary: £29,659.50 based on 37.5 hours a week with one sleep-in shift.

Job Description:
We are seeking energetic and reliable Support Workers to join our dedicated team in a scenic rural setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, supporting residents with learning disabilities to enjoy a fulfilling and independent life. No two days are the same, as you will be involved in outdoor farm work, social activities, and personalised support programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker based in the rural area, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting residents in their daily lives, fostering independence, confidence, resilience, and personal growth.
- Engaging residents in farm-related and outdoor activities, including tending to the land and participating in recreational outings.
- Assisting with social, recreational, and skill-building programmes tailored to individual interests and abilities.
- Working collaboratively with a supportive team to create a safe, enriching environment for all residents.
- Supporting residents with their participation in social activities such as local discos, pub visits, film nights, and games.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Support Worker, you will need:
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
- Willingness to support residents in attending their chosen place of worship as required.
- The ability to drive and take residents out in the service vehicle.
- Previous experience in care or support work is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
- Mandatory compliance includes a full UK driving licence and, ideally, an enhanced DBS check.
