Job Title: Support Worker – Children and Young People

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider in supporting children and young people. This position is on day shifts and is 20 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 8 to 18 with Autistic Spectrum and complex needs.
- Assist in creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for residents.
- Support children and young people in developing life skills, independence, and confidence.
- Follow individual care plans and contribute to their ongoing development.
- Participate in rota shifts, including early, late, and sleep-in duties.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members and families.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- No specific qualifications are required, but a passion for helping children and young people is vital.
- Ability to work on a rota basis, covering early and late shifts, including sleep-ins.
- Commitment to safeguarding and a caring, empathetic approach.
- Willingness to undertake DBS and reference checks in line with government regulations.
