Salary: From £26, 142 plus sleep allowanceand overtime

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider in Coalville, Leicestershire. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a newly established Mental Health Residential Home, supporting children and young people with complex needs. The Residential Support Worker in this role will play a vital part in creating a nurturing environment that promotes recovery, resilience, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build trusting, nurturing relationships that support the service user's wellbeing and independence
• Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for young people
• Contribute to the daily running of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
• Accurately document all relevant information and keep records up to date
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable children and young people
• Promote a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment at all times

Requirements:

• Must hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe
• Motivated by a desire to positively impact young people's lives and support their recovery journey
• Good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people
• Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
• Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
