Job Title: Support Worker for Learning Disabilities
Location: Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire
Salary: £28,216.50 Based on 37.5 hours a week with one sleep-in shift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents in their daily lives, fostering independence, confidence, resilience, and personal growth
- Engage in farm-related and outdoor activities alongside residents
- Assist with social, recreational, and skill-building programmes tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
- Support residents during social activities such as local discos, pub visits, film nights, and games
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team to create a safe, enriching environment
- Support residents with their personal care and daily routines
- Take individuals to their chosen places of worship as required
- Drive the service vehicle to take residents out in the local community
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to indoor and outdoor activities
- Willingness to participate in social and recreational activities
- Ability to drive and take residents out in the service vehicle
- Previous experience in care or support work is advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
