Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to children, including those with challenging behaviours
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Implement personalised care plans effectively
- Support young people to engage in activities that promote independence, social skills, and overall well-being
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all residents
- Promote positive behaviour and assist in managing challenging situations
Requirements:
- Passion for working with children with complex needs and SEN
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and nights
