Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Supported Living Workers to join our team in a supported living home. This full-time role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with additional needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and communication challenges. Based in Cranleigh, Surrey, the Supported Living Worker position is ideal for individuals who are committed to promoting independence and well-being within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist tenants with daily routines such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning
- Support community engagement through activities like gym sessions, nature walks, seaside trips, and college visits
- Provide emotional guidance and help tenants manage their emotions with kindness and understanding
- Act as a trusted advocate and companion for the individuals you support
Requirements:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude are essential
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required due to the semi-rural location; mileage will be reimbursed
