Responsibilities:
- Engage with residents in a friendly, sociable manner in a lively, community-focused setting.
- Support residents with daily tasks, helping them to develop skills and promote independence.
- Lead by example, demonstrating patience, consistency, and a caring approach.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages self-advocacy and personal growth.
- Participate in organising and supporting activities within the home and community.
- Collaborate closely with team members, volunteers, and family members to ensure residents’ needs are met effectively.
- Genuine kindness, patience, and practical ability.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy, dynamic environment.
- Right to work in the UK (please note, our client cannot sponsor visas).
- Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience in a care or support role is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided.
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care.
