Job Title: Supported Living Worker
Location: Cranleigh, Surrey, South East (GU6 area)
Salary: £26,951 - £27,926 per annum (Senior Supported Living Worker: £28,232 - £29,881 per annum) + £1,000 retention bonus
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week, rota incl. alternate weekends; part-time considered)
Job Description:
A Supported Living Worker role is available in Cranleigh, Surrey, supporting adults with additional needs to live as independently and confidently as possible. You’ll join a supportive team in a supported living home, helping individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and communication challenges to thrive in everyday life.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Supported Living Worker based in Cranleigh, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting daily routines such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment
- Encouraging independence and life skills through positive, person-centred support
- Promoting community engagement in and around Cranleigh, Surrey, including gym sessions, nature walks, seaside trips, and college visits
- Providing calm, respectful emotional guidance and helping tenants manage feelings and behaviours
- Acting as a trusted companion and advocate, ensuring each person’s voice and choices are heard and respected
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Supported Living Worker, you will need:
- A caring, resilient, and positive approach (no previous experience required—full training provided)
- Confidence supporting adults with additional needs in a home and community setting
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (semi-rural location; mileage reimbursed and vehicle use may be required)
