Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team, a warm and nurturing Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home located in Coalville, Leicestershire.

This role offers the opportunity to support children and young people aged 8–18 in a safe environment that promotes growth, independence, and emotional resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Residential Support Worker based in Coalville, your daily duties will include:

Building trusting, nurturing relationships that promote each young person's independence, wellbeing, and personal growth.
Collaborating with parents, carers, and professionals to deliver holistic care.
Contributing to the day-to-day running of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Accurately documenting and maintaining records in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
Promoting and maintaining a safe, supportive environment at all times.
Upholding safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the protection of all service users.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Residential Support Worker, you will need:

Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Be motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young people's lives.
Be flexible and committed to working sleep-ins, shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
