Job Description:
Our client, a leading organisation in housing and support services, is seeking a dedicated Projects Manager to oversee service delivery across multiple projects in Cardiff. This role involves supporting teams to deliver high-quality housing-related support to vulnerable individuals aged 18 and over, ensuring compliance with organisational and funder standards.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Projects Manager based in Cardiff, your daily duties will include:

• Leading and managing teams to maintain a high standard of service that reflects the organisation’s values and principles.
• Providing guidance, supervision, and support to staff, including managing annual leave, sickness, and performance.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed and that staff are trained in trauma-informed and psychologically safe practices.
• Monitoring project performance, managing caseloads, and ensuring timely referrals and assessments.
• Acting swiftly on safeguarding concerns, including liaising with statutory agencies and managing risk assessments.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with external agencies such as social services, police, and training providers.
• Managing project budgets, authorising expenditure, and ensuring financial compliance.
• Participating in local partnership meetings and representing the organisation at sector forums.
• Ensuring all team members complete necessary monitoring and audit procedures to maintain service quality.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Projects Manager, you will need:

• An educational qualification to Diploma level or equivalent (QCF Level 2 or 3).
• Proven experience of line management within a support environment, supporting individuals with complex needs including mental health, trauma, or substance misuse.
• Knowledge of housing and homelessness issues, risk management, and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage diverse teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience liaising with partner agencies.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
