Supported Living Worker – Night Waking Shifts (Adults with Additional Needs)

Job Overview
We are recruiting a caring, empathetic, and resilient Supported Living Worker to join the dedicated night team at The Lodge, a supported living house for adults with complex needs. This is a permanent role offering the chance to provide essential overnight support and make a difference every night.
The tenants include adults with autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, and communication needs. No prior experience is necessary--we provide excellent training and support for you to succeed.
Salary & Compensation:

Base Salary: £26,951 - £27,976 per year

Night Waking Allowance: £650 per year

Retention Bonus: A £1,000 Retention Bonus is offered (paid in instalments over 18 months).

Hours: 37 hours per week working permanent night waking shifts on a rota basis.
The Role and Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility is to ensure tenants feel safe, supported, and at home during the night.

Support tenants if they wake, providing immediate reassurance and guidance when they feel anxious or frustrated.

Use positive behaviour support techniques to maintain a calm and safe environment (full training provided).

Build trusting relationships that help tenants live fulfilled and independent lives.

Work collaboratively as part of the night team.
