Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teacher based in Merthyr Tydfil, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Planning and preparing lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues and school staff to support student development
- Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a safe learning environment
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teacher, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
