Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teacher based in Merthyr Tydfil, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in accordance with the national curriculum
- Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student development
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic achievement
- Collaborating with school staff and parents to support student learning and wellbeing
- Preparing and adapting lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behaviour
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teacher, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching primary school children, specifically in KS1 and KS2
- Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Reliable, professional, and committed to high standards of education
