Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teacher based in Cheshire, your daily duties will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and school policies.
• Adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress to inform future planning and interventions.
• Creating a safe, purposeful, and well-organised classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour.
• Supporting pupils to develop independence, resilience, and positive attitudes to learning.
• Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and external professionals to support pupils with additional needs.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in accordance with KCSIE guidelines.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to school improvement initiatives.
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupil progress.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teacher in Cheshire, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a good understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and compliance with KCSIE.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
