Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Specialist Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Service in Aberdare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support learners with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, and challenging behaviour within a dynamic educational environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with vulnerable learners and a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies. Whether you are seeking full-time or part-time work, this position provides flexible hours and a supportive team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and supervise learners with SEMH, SEBD, EBD, or challenging behaviour
Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
Support staff in preparing classrooms for lessons
Deliver a variety of subjects at both primary and secondary levels
Engage learners through classroom and out-of-classroom activities
Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies

Requirements:

At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably within a pupil referral setting
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – support available to assist with registration
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
