We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a reputable primary school in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf. This full-time, long-term role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the foundation phase, providing vital classroom support and helping create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to young children
• Support pupils’ individual learning needs within the classroom setting
• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions among pupils
• Prepare classroom resources and materials to enhance learning activities
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students
• Support the development of early cognitive, social, and emotional skills

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a classroom or similar setting is preferred
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting young learners
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the classroom
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential
