Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant | Foundation Phase Support | Long-Term Role in Ferndale

Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum)

We're partnering with a leading primary school in Ferndale to find a dedicated and proactive Primary School Teaching Assistant to support the Foundation Phase. This full-time, long-term position is perfect for enthusiastic individuals eager to contribute to an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to foundation pupils, helping to foster a positive and engaging learning environment
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to implement lesson plans and activities that meet the diverse needs of young learners
• Support individual and small groups of pupils to enhance understanding and engagement
• Assist with behaviour management and promoting positive social interactions among pupils
• Help create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages confidence, teamwork, and respect

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Prior experience working with primary-aged children, especially in the Foundation Phase (years EYFS/Reception and Key Stage 1)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
• Passionate about early childhood education and development
• Adaptable, patient, and proactive in supporting varied learning needs
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with a commitment to a full-term role
