Job Title: Full-Time Primary School Teaching Assistant – Foundation Phase

Salary: £88.92 per day

An esteemed primary school in Merthyr Tydfil is seeking a dedicated full-time Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their foundation phase team. Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to teachers and students in the foundation phase
• Assist with planning and implementing engaging activities tailored to early years learning
• Support individual and group pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Help monitor student progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to the class teacher
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students during school hours
• Support pupils with their educational and developmental needs to promote effective learning

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about supporting young learners and inclusive education
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team
• Flexible attitude towards duties and responsibilities

Working Pattern:

• Full-time, long-term contract
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
