Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant – Foundation Phase Support in Abercwmboi

Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum)

Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and fostering an inclusive classroom environment? We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a leading primary school in Abercwmboi. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the foundation phase, supporting teachers and engaging with children to promote positive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality support in the classroom, assisting with daily activities and pupil needs
• Work closely with the class teacher to create an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
• Support the delivery of age-appropriate educational activities within the foundation phase
• Assist with classroom management and behavioural support to ensure a safe and productive space
• Encourage student engagement and help facilitate their social and academic development
• Support pupils with diverse learning requirements, adapting approaches to meet individual needs

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for education and a genuine desire to support young learners
• Reliable and adaptable, with a professional attitude
• Availability for full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
