We are partnering with a leading primary school in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf, to recruit a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing classroom support within the foundation phase of primary education
• Assisting the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and activities
• Supporting pupils to develop their academic, social, and emotional skills
• Creating an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment
• Supervising pupils during classroom activities and break times
• Helping to manage behaviour and maintain high standards of discipline
• Contributing to the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities

Ideal candidate requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary-school aged children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A nurturing and patient approach to supporting children’s development
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
• Flexibility and enthusiasm to support a dynamic classroom environment
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable)
