Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum)

Job Description:

Join a leading primary school in the heart of Crosskeys, Newport, as a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners’ educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher to develop and implement inclusive lesson plans
• Support students' individual needs to foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management and organise learning resources
• Encourage student participation and promote positive behaviour
• Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive setting for all pupils

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary school children is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting young learners and inspiring a love of learning
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Reliable, proactive, and adaptable attitude
