Our client, a leading primary school in Merthyr Tydfil, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to teachers and students in the foundation phase.
• Assist with planning and delivering educational activities to foster student engagement.
• Support the development of inclusive classroom practices, ensuring a positive learning environment for all pupils.
• Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to monitor and record student progress.
• Support individual learners and small groups to enhance their understanding and confidence.
• Help manage classroom routines and behaviour to maintain a safe and nurturing atmosphere.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working with primary or early years children is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
