Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant - Foundation Phase, Full-Time Role in Tonypandy

Location: Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, UK

Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum)

Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a leading primary school in Tonypandy. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the foundation phase of education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing general classroom support to teachers and pupils
• Assisting in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Supporting children with their individual learning needs and activities
• Helping manage classroom behaviour and promote a safe, respectful atmosphere
• Collaborating closely with the class teacher to deliver effective learning experiences

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with young children, ideally in a primary school setting
• Knowledge of the foundation phase curriculum
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment
• Eligibility to work in the UK with relevant safeguarding checks

Working Pattern:

• Full-time, long-term employment
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
