We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rassau, Ebbw Vale. This full-time, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of children within the foundation phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing general classroom support across the foundation phase
• Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting children with their individual learning needs
• Encouraging pupil engagement and fostering a safe, nurturing classroom atmosphere
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
• Supporting behaviour management strategies

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred
• Passionate about education and child development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, proactive, and adaptable
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Must hold relevant safeguarding and child protection training (or be willing to complete)
