Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Mainstream & ALN) – Swansea

Location: Swansea (Primary & Secondary Schools)

The Opportunities Due to an increase in demand for the 2026 academic year, we are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for roles within both Mainstream and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) settings. We have vacancies in:

• Primary Education: Supporting Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.
• Secondary Education: General classroom support and subject-specific assistance.
• ALN Provisions: Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex physical needs.

Key Responsibilities: * Assisting the Class Teacher in the delivery of the curriculum.

• Providing 1-on-1 or small group interventions (Literacy, Numeracy, or Wellbeing).
• Supporting pupils with ALN to ensure inclusive access to learning.
• Managing classroom behavior in line with school policies.
• Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays.

Requirements: * Qualifications: A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Education is highly desirable.

• Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people (School, Youth Work, or Care settings).
• Registration: Must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or be willing to apply.
• Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Vetro can assist with a new application if required).
• Reliability: A professional, punctual, and adaptable approach to school assignments.
