Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum), competitive daily rates

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in Rhymney, Tredegar. This full-time, long-term role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the Foundation Phase, providing valuable classroom support and fostering an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom assistance to support teachers and pupils
• Work effectively in partnership with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
• Support the development of a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom
• Assist with the supervision and encouragement of students during lessons and activities
• Help manage classroom resources and maintain a safe learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring and proactive attitude towards student development
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare are advantageous
• Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
