Salary: £88.92 per day (competitive, dependent on experience)

Our client, a leading specialist provider of educational staffing, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf. This full-time, long-term role offers an excellent opportunity to work in the foundation phase, supporting classroom activities and fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective classroom support to teachers within the foundation phase.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Support students with their individual needs, promoting a positive learning experience.
• Help create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
• Monitor and support students' social and emotional development.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with early years or primary school children (desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting classroom activities.
• Hold relevant qualifications or a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, on a full-time, long-term basis.
