Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Caerphilly, Wales
Salary: £92.58 per day (DOE)
Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Wales, helping children with additional learning needs, including those with Autism. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time roles, this position offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday, with the chance to gain valuable experience and make a real difference in pupils' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise classroom activities
- Assist learners in staying on task and understanding lessons
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver lessons effectively
- Support learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, particularly those with additional needs
- Help with lunch and break-time routines as needed
- Engage learners in classroom and outdoor activities
- Follow the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN is preferred
- Proactive work ethic and positive attitude
- Good understanding of special educational needs
- Ability to provide tailored support to pupils
- Patience and understanding nature
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
The ideal candidate will be flexible, caring, and committed to supporting children with additional needs. The role starts at 8:30 am and finishes at 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
