Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Caerphilly, Wales
Salary: £92.58 per day (DOE)

Job Description:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in education? A leading specialist provider is seeking dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to support schools in Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Wales, helping children with additional learning needs, including those with Autism. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time roles, this position offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday, with the chance to gain valuable experience and make a real difference in pupils' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise classroom activities
  • Assist learners in staying on task and understanding lessons
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver lessons effectively
  • Support learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, particularly those with additional needs
  • Help with lunch and break-time routines as needed
  • Engage learners in classroom and outdoor activities
  • Follow the school's behaviour management policies

Requirements:

  • Experience working or volunteering with children with SEN is preferred
  • Proactive work ethic and positive attitude
  • Good understanding of special educational needs
  • Ability to provide tailored support to pupils
  • Patience and understanding nature
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

The ideal candidate will be flexible, caring, and committed to supporting children with additional needs. The role starts at 8:30 am and finishes at 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
