Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in St Melons, Cardiff. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting young learners and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. The Primary School Teaching Assistant will work closely with the Class Teacher to ensure a positive and engaging learning experience for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to teachers and students in the foundation phase.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of learning activities.
• Support pupils with their individual learning needs and behavioural development.
• Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Supervise and assist pupils during lessons, breaks, and other activities.
• Contribute to the overall organisation and smooth running of the classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the classroom.

This is a full-time, long-term position working in St Melons, Cardiff, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The role offers a competitive daily rate of £92.59, with potential for further progression.
