Salary: £92.59 per day (DOE)

Job Description:
Our client, a leading primary school in Lisvane, Cardiff, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality support within the foundation phase of the primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Support the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with behaviour management and student engagement.
• Support individual and group learning activities as directed by the teacher.
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming classroom setting.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the classroom.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are advantageous.
