Our client, a leading primary school in Adamsdown, Cardiff, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality support within the foundation phase of the primary school.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general classroom support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities.
Support the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with behaviour management and student engagement.
Support individual and group learning activities as directed by the teacher.
Help maintain a safe and welcoming classroom setting.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the classroom.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are advantageous.
