Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to support the foundation phase and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will work closely with the Class Teacher to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to pupils in the foundation phase.
• Assist the Class Teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Support pupils with their learning, behaviour, and social development.
• Help create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supervise and assist pupils during activities and breaks.
• Contribute to the overall organisation and smooth running of the classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

This Primary Teaching Assistant role in Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent, is ideal for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young learners. The position is full-time, long-term, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a pay rate of £95.00 per day (minimum).
