We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support schools in Chester. You will be supporting students within primary, secondary or SEN schools depending on your preferences.
Location: Chester
Responsibilities
- To support the class teacher to ensure the delivery of a high-quality education for all students
- To provide support to students, on an individual or group basis, to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
- To support the class teacher in organising the classroom, its resources, student groupings and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation
- Assist some learners in developing or refining their ‘independence’ skills, which may include assisting with personal care elements.
Key Requirements:
- Experience and understanding of working with children
- School experience supporting students in a classroom or 1-1
- References covering the last two years
- Hold a current DBS on the update service or are willing to complete a new DBS
- The Right to Work in the UK
