Job Description
Primary Teaching Assistant opportunities are available for a long-term, full-time position in Caerphilly, supporting the Foundation Phase within a welcoming primary school. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide consistent classroom support and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for pupils in Caerphilly, Caerphilly County Borough.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general classroom support across Foundation Phase lessons and activities
- Working in partnership with the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and engagement
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment in Caerphilly
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience supporting children in a primary school or similar educational setting (Foundation Phase experience preferred)
- The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to a positive classroom culture
- The required safeguarding and compliance checks for working in education (e.g., Enhanced DBS or equivalent)
