Job Description

Key Responsibilities
As a teaching assistant based in Wirral, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting class teachers with day-to-day classroom learning and behaviour expectations
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils achieve learning and wellbeing goals
- Assisting with interventions, recording progress, and helping evidence outcomes
- Helping to create an engaging learning environment (resources, displays, and practical activities)
- Building positive relationships with pupils, maintaining clear professional boundaries at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- A relevant supporting-teaching qualification (e.g., Level 2/Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning) or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting children in an education or childcare setting (including 1:1 or small-group work)
- Enhanced DBS Check and Right to Work in the UK (safeguarding-first approach essential)
