Our department is actively seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school located in Crosby. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: Up to £90 per day
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the curriculum. You’ll help deliver engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and group support, and assist in creating a safe and supportive classroom environment. Whether you’re guiding pupils through their learning or supporting with classroom activities, your role will be crucial to their educational journey.

Key Requirements:
-
Experience working with children (school, childcare, tutoring, etc.)
-
A genuine interest in education and child development
-
Confident in supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
Positive, proactive, and adaptable
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
-
Level 2/3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
Duties Will Include:

Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom

Providing individual and small group support during lessons

Assisting with classroom preparation and resources

Supporting pupils with reading, writing, numeracy, and phonics

Promoting good behaviour and positive attitudes to learning

Supervising children during break/lunch times

Helping with displays, classroom organisation, and administration
