Primary Teaching Assistant – Full Time, Foundation Phase | Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a reputable primary school in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support children in their early years education and make a positive impact in the classroom.

About the role:

• Location: Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf
• Contract: Full-time, long-term
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Pay: £88.92 per day (minimum)

Key responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to children in the foundation phase
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support individual and group activities to enhance student engagement
• Assist with behavioural management and classroom organization
• Support the development of children’s social and educational skills

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere
• Reliable and proactive with a genuine passion for supporting early learners
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential
