Primary Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role in Maesycwmmer, Hengoed

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Maesycwmmer, Hengoed. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to support young learners in a vibrant, inclusive environment.

Key Details:

• Position: Primary School Teaching Assistant
• Location: Maesycwmmer, Hengoed
• Salary: £88.92 per day (minimum)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Contract: Full-time, long-term

Responsibilities:

• Support classroom activities and teacher-led lessons
• Collaborate with the Class Teacher to create a positive learning environment
• Assist with managing behaviour and promoting engagement
• Provide general support to pupils to facilitate their academic progress
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom space

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enthusiasm for supporting young learners’ development
• DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Adaptability and a proactive attitude
