Primary Teaching Assistant (ALN) – Full-Time Role in Gelligaer, Hengoed

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (ALN) for a full-time position at a welcoming primary school in Gelligaer, Hengoed. This is an excellent opportunity to support inclusive education within a supportive environment.

About the role:

• Supporting students with additional learning needs (ALN) in Key Stage 2
• Collaborating closely with the Class Teacher to promote a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Contributing to the development and delivery of tailored support plans for students
• Assisting in creating a nurturing environment that encourages learning and development

Key responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support to students with additional needs
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the class teacher
• Support the social and emotional well-being of pupils
• Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and resource preparation

Candidate requirements:

• Experience working with children with additional learning needs (ALN)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Flexible, caring, and proactive attitude

Details:

• Location: Gelligaer, Hengoed
• Pay: £95.00 per day (minimum)
• Working pattern: Full-time, long-term position
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
