Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant based in Wirral, your daily duties will include:

• Supporting pupils with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory impairments, and complex behaviours.
• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities where required.
• Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored learning programmes.
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student development and well-being.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

• A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
• Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
• Mandatory compliance with an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory pre-employment checks.
• Flexibility, energy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learners.
