Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school community in the Wirral. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children in a caring and inclusive environment, contributing to their development and learning within a vibrant school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant based in the Wirra, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the curriculum and school ethos.
- Providing tailored support to children with SEND, ensuring they can access learning effectively.
- Assisting teachers with classroom management and behaviour support to create a positive learning environment.
- Contributing to the development of individual education plans and tracking student progress.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Relevant experience working with children, particularly in KS1 or with SEND.
- A supportive attitude aligned with our Catholic ethos and mission.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to empathise with young learners facing barriers to learning.
- A commitment to high standards and continuous professional development.
- Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check.
