Job Description:
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. You will work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess children’s progress, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's development.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant based in Liverpool your daily duties will include:

• Supporting children with diverse learning and pastoral needs to ensure an inclusive classroom environment.
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of exciting, age-appropriate activities.
• Monitoring and assessing children’s progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Building strong relationships with children, staff, and families to support their well-being and development.
• Working independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Upholding confidentiality and maintaining professional standards at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant in Liverpool, you will need:

• A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
