Primary Teaching Assistant – Part-Time, Long-Term Role in Hengoed, Caerphilly

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hengoed, Caerphilly. This part-time, long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to support young learners and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

About the Role:

• Provide general classroom support to the teaching team
• Offer individual support to students to aid their learning and development
• Collaborate closely with the Class Teacher to foster an engaging and inclusive educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities

• Support with classroom management and maintain a positive learning atmosphere

• Adapt support to meet the needs of individual students, including those with special educational needs

• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all pupils

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is desirable

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning and development

• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude

Work Details:

• Location: Hengoed, Caerphilly
• Pay: from £88.92 per day
• Working pattern: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Duration: Long-term, ongoing position
